Hi ladies anyone want to join the 2ww with me??

I'm either 1/2dpo. Ovulated either 29/30th. We only managed to dtd 28-29th. So hope I have a chance.

@Joeyjo21 welcome.
You could be 11dpo? I'd be testing now haha. When is your period due?

I miscarried twice last year too. My last miscarriage was around this time..9th June!

Fingers crossed xx

Hi @Kee80, it’s heartbreaking isn’t it, but we’ve tried to take as many positives from it as possible as up until that time we’d been ttc for quite a long time and didn’t even know if it was possible - at least now we know there’s hope 🤞
I’m resisting testing for another few days as I didn’t get my bfp until 13dpo last time..... torture when you’re as impatient as me 🤣

Kee80 · 01/06/2018 16:58

@Joeyjo21 yeah it really is awful. The first time was a mmc at 9 weeks scan showed no heartbeat. I wasn't expecting it at all and was completely devastated. My 2nd was a natural one at 6 weeks. I was kind of expecting it if you know what I mean.

Yes look at the positives, now you know you can get pregnant and miscarriages are so common. Which I never really knew till I had mine.

Fingers crossed for this month xx

Hey, I'm also waiting, this is only our first month trying and only 3 dpo and feel like an absolute crazy person symptom spotting! Really bad heartburn, which I never get, and sore nipples. I need to not get my hopes up! X

sachabloom · 02/06/2018 09:48

My FRERs have arrived this morning. Killing me to not do one as I'm only 8DPO. When do you think is a good time to do one? Xx

Kee80 · 02/06/2018 10:23

@Rebe22a I'm also about 3dpo it seems so far away! I've promised myself I'm not going to symptom spot!! Well try not to haha.

@sachabloom I would test about 10/11dpo that's when I got a very faint positive on frer. Have heard some ladies get them at 9dpo!!

OP posts:
Kescilly · 02/06/2018 12:05

@Rebe22a I think I’m probably about 4dpo, so we can wait together!

@sachabloom I think I’d personally wait for symptoms or a missed period, but otherwise around 10dpo seems the earliest that’s reasonable?

Ridethewaves · 02/06/2018 12:28

Hey everyone, can I join? I think I'm 3 dpo although not sure as this is my second cycle after having the implant removed so not in a proper routine yet!
Anyone know when you can realistically start to see symptoms? My hair is really greasy (despite washing every day!) but I wonder if this is due to coming off the implant. I have know idea!!

Ridethewaves · 02/06/2018 12:30

Also I seem to have lost the ability to spell (doubt this is a very early pregnancy symptom!!) excuse typos in my previous post!

Kee80 · 02/06/2018 12:33

With my pregnancies I never got any symptoms till around 6 weeks pregnant.

The egg implants from about 6po so I don't think any symptoms would be to do with pregnancy until after xx

Kescilly · 02/06/2018 12:40

Hi @Ridethewaves! I agree with Kee, it's unlikely you'll have any symptoms at this stage. I think that would only happen if you were off with your ovulation date. Probably mid to end of next week at the very earliest for symptoms?

Ridethewaves · 02/06/2018 12:44

Thanks both, I'm sure you're right. Most of the time I think, to myself the 'symptoms' I'm spotting are in my head but then I think, but what if I actually ovulated at a different time or even became pregnant last month (despite having a period!). I can see how all of this can very quickly become an obsession!

Kescilly · 02/06/2018 12:46

Are you using an app where you can put them all in? It might help you feel as though you're doing something with all your observations.

Ridethewaves · 02/06/2018 12:49

I'm not using an app, do you? any recommendations?

Kee80 · 02/06/2018 12:51

It really is hard not to symptom spot. I was the same last month, thought I had all these symptoms. Tested up to af getting bfn but still thinking maybe I am.

It's a cruel waiting game. Do you know when you ovulated? Xx

Kee80 · 02/06/2018 12:52

I use Flo and ovia. I like ovia you can ask loads of random questions without having to start a group xx

OP posts:
Kescilly · 02/06/2018 12:55

I only started using Ovia this cycle but it has soooo many fields for data, plus it looks nice and bright. I don't use most of them, just enter in my ovulation test data mostly. But I think you might like it!

Rebe22a · 02/06/2018 12:59

I'm using Ovia too, it's good for bbt. X

Ridethewaves · 02/06/2018 13:21

Looks like I'm going to be downloading Ovia- thanks all! Looking forward to following this board over the next few weeks, fingers crossed there will be plenty of of bfps!

Ridethewaves · 02/06/2018 13:22

ps what does bbt stand for Rebe22a?

Kescilly · 02/06/2018 14:14

It stands for basal body temperature (BBT). Some women chart their BBT using special thermometers when they are TTC.

sachabloom · 02/06/2018 14:15

Resisted the temptation, struggling with cramps today though so not sure what that means xx

Kee80 · 02/06/2018 14:18

Could be implantation @sachabloom fingers crossed. If it is you should get a positive in a couple of days xx

sachabloom · 02/06/2018 15:11

Sorry for TMI but I have got a lot of discharge now too, any know what this means/if it means anything? Xx

Kee80 · 02/06/2018 19:15

@sachabloom I've heard that quite a bit of lotion type discharge has been an early pregnancy sign for some women
