This is my friends test. I’m swinging between OMFG that’s positive and no, don’t trust it!
But that’s one hell of a line, isn’t it?

Has anyone experienced a line like that and it being confirmed afterwards as a positive or negative? And would you mind sharing for comparison?
Any input is appreciated.

Mmm you’d think it was a positive but so many people have recently had problems with these tests, I don’t think they should be used!!!
Good luck anyway and I hope it is a BFF :)

Rose2887 · 30/05/2018 17:27

Bfp 😂

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 30/05/2018 17:39

I'd say positive only if testing early as is still quite faint. What dpo is your friend?

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 30/05/2018 17:42

This was my clearblue at 13dpo if it helps.

Well this is the thing, possibly only 8dpo but I personally think this (if it’s positive) would indicate that it’s more than DPO than that.

Thanks.

Why do Clear Blue make two different types? Are they different apart from the line or cross result?

I'm not sure, the vertical line should still be the same though.

FutureFairyCrayon · 30/05/2018 21:32

From memory I think the ones with two vertical lines are marketed as earlier response tests.

I have never had an issue with blue dye tests, and I suspect that a lot of people who say they got false positives were either having a chemical pregnancy, misreading evaps, or looking at an indent where the dye line would be.

That doesn’t look particularly blue, would be my only concern, but that may just be the pic. It’s certainly the right thickness and in the right place. Fx for your friend!

Torie10 · 30/05/2018 22:24

I think this looks positive.
I haven't heard about issues with clear blue.

What tends to happen with them?

Torie10 · 30/05/2018 22:25

@Rose2887 I have one of these tests that I was planning to use tomorrow. should I Not? 😁

Rose2887 · 31/05/2018 07:14

@Torie10 I’ve never used a blue dye test but this week I’ve seen numerous posts on these being faulty! I just keep to pink dye ones.. I’d definitely use it tho, they must work for some people :) xx

@Torie10 here’s an example...

Hope everyone gets there bfp if they haven’t already Flowers

SoyDora · 31/05/2018 07:25

Looks like mine did on the same test at around 10DPO. Now 9 weeks pregnant.

MalcomPowder · 31/05/2018 14:40

@soydora do you have a picture of yours?
