CD35, BFN, no AF. Have I even ovulated?

I had EWCM on CD15, CD16 and the morning of CD17. Had really sharp pains CD17 in the afternoon and immediately after my CM completely dried up. So I have assumed that I ovulated on CD17.
Now on CD35 and no AF. No signs of AF at all. But I’m getting BFN!
So, is there still a chance of being pregnant, or I’m now worried that I didn’t actually ovulate? Is that common?

It's still possible as some people implant late and don't see a line until a week after AF is due. Try not to get your hopes up too much as plenty just have an unexplained late period too. I hope it's the late positive for you!

Thank you for replying! It’s so frustrating waiting for AF to turn up, I’m worrying that I haven’t even ovulated. We are TTC number 2, my DS is 6 now and I think I pretty much fell pregnant straight away with him so wasn’t paying attention to everything like I am this time. Feels like TTC number 2 is taking forever :-(
