The period is late and BFN bus!

Who else is suffering this annoyance? I was expecting my period at the weekend, so it's not terribly late, but it's not usually late at all. But of course BFNs had a squinter yesterday but it didn't really turn into anything.

This happened once before a few years ago when I was TTC DC1 and i had skipped a whole cycle for no reason!

Hunker down cause it's gonna be a long few days til we get answers

@buntyll no I've not tested today. Assume that as I had a negative frer yesterday, there's no way I'd have enough level increase to get one on an ic today (no frers left and won't bother buying anymore until next cycle)
Gonna hold off as long as I can now until I retest but lots of af symptoms coming and going so we'll see.

I'm on... Had what I'm nearly sure was ovulation pains on 16th, BFN on 9, 10 and 12dpo. My cycle has been 30 days forever, this is the first month TTC and I got my copper coil out last month...and had a 34 day cycle. Now Clue thinks I'm due today (which would give me a 31 day cycle this month) and which would be 14dpo fair enough, but not a sign of AF. Have 1 FRER left and really don't want to use it and be disappointed so I'm trying to hold off another few days. Actually I had half thought I would try again this morning since I'm due on but I woke up at 6am desperate for a wee and I couldn't wait while I faffed about opening the wrappers so maybe that's just as well I'm really annoyed that my body has been so consistent my whole life and the SECOND i decide to TTC it starts playing up, and as I'm 41 I'm worried that actually this is moving towards the end full stop. I'm kind of gutted I opened myself up to this tbh. If we'd never decided I could have slid towards infertility none the wiser, and instead I'm already a crazy lady cycle #1

Think she's arrived! Thank god for that.

Hi @Littlechief, I was reading lots of threads yesterday about people who were a week late before they got their BFP so you never know, fx.

AF arrived this morning with a vengeance 🙄 At least I know where I stand (but not before I wasted my last FRER last night!!) Am definitely not buying any tests this month. Probably.

At least you know where you stand I suspect I’ll be in the same boat tomorrow, good luck for next month!

Well af has kinda just stayed a minimal pink brown thing so far. There's still time for it to kick off as it's only been 24 hours, but usually I'm only on for 4 days (5 max) and it ramps up quickly and is fairly heavy.
No idea what's going on. Maybe it's a mini one this month or something??

Well, only 1 day late which I know is nothing, but have been bang on 32 days for years, and then 32 days after having implant removed. This will be 4th af since removal. POAS this morning. BFN. No pms symptoms (usually cramps and sore boobs). Some discomfort 8dpo, now pushing 15 dpo (used opk). Placing my bet on 35 days cycle...just enough to get my hopes up! Will keep drinking the gin until I know either way...

Has anyone here had an ectopic pregnancy before, or had a period and later found out they are actually pregnant?

I'm sure I'm imagining things. So I'm not too worried. Life in general has been a bit stressful lately anyway.,

But, I spotted brown for 3 days before my period. Bled heavy for 2days (on time) and suddenly stopped yesterday.
Today I've got pinkish spotting again 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've been cramping/twinging on and off for almost a whole week now. My periods are usually 4days start to end.

I assumed a chemical again. Especially with the heavier bleeding.
Tests negative up to this point.

But.... I'm so bloated. I've cried twice in the last few days for no real reason. Just put it down to stress.
Been dizzy. Put down to feeling so so tired.
But really, I slept from 8:30pm one night and then barely did anything the next day. Still passed out at 6:30pm. Slept right through till 8am and felt so sick that morning.
I'm putting it down to anaemia from the bleeding. However, it comes and goes. Whilst anaemia just doesn't budge?

Help!! What is going on?

Can humans have phantoms like dogs?? 😂

@Wishful30 it does sound like you've had your period but maybe it's worth seeing the GP to discuss your symptoms anyway? Especially if you are worried about ectopic - I have no experience im afraid.

@Frizzy1986 did AF get properly started?

I have AF at last so no idea why it was a week late but onwards and upwards.

@Wishful30 I've had an ectopic. My first symptom was a sharp pain that doubled me over and was horrendous, but it was the same day of my period due date, so thought it was a bad month. I then walked around for just over 2 weeks feeling miserable, uncomfortable, really really bloated. Eventually I got tingling in my shoulder and thought the pain/cramping was an appendicitis. I had faint pregnancy result in A&E and they said that sharp pain must've been the rupture- they were amazed I lasted 2 weeks. Any concerns , get it checked x

Yep I think she's properly started now. Still feeling a bit weird. Tummy feels like there's bubbles in there or something and af is still not quite right. Def getting stronger now though and red instead of brown.
Looking forward to next month.

My pains are only mild, and I've read about the shoulder thing too.
Pretty sure it's just AF messing around after chemical.
Took a test anyway, negative. Which is good then.
Will keep check over the weekend and if no better see the gp Monday

@Wishful30 AF is a witch. Just when you think you have her figured out, she changes.

So so true!!! Never had a problem with my cycle. Always been spot on. Knew what day to expect it. Had cramps a couple hours before. Boom job done.
Now... we'll now I dunno if I count the spotting as cd1 or the proper bleeding. So now I dunno when I'm gonna ovulate. And as soon as I get my peak, I've gotta drop everything a run to Harley Street 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've just stumbled upon this thread at the right time, I feel like I'm losing my mind. Had a 51 day cycle last month (the first cycle after MC) and I'm now on CD30, no sign of AF and no BFP. Praying that I'm not in for another super long cycle this month.

@Wishful30 that's good news that you're taking some steps forward, will keep everything crossed for you. How do you feel about TTC?

I'm 30, TTC no. 1, been actively trying since Dec 2017 and fell preg quickly but had a MMC around 10 weeks. Feels like everyone is pregnant at the moment
