I have 11 days before af is due - we only dtd on cd6 and I have a 29 day cycle so I am not holding out much hope, but still symptom spotting if anyone wants to join me in the craziness of ttc !

Spoke to the nurse I've got to ring back to speak to the doctor apparently. They're in though she said. X

I'm out. Did a ClearBlue and a cheapie and both negative. Nearly five days late and no sign of AF, perhaps I just didn't ovulate. Very disappointed, I really thought I'd get a positive, I know I didn't dream all the symptoms but I guess they can be explained away.

Hoping the sadness passes today and onward to next month.

@LuciaSpain you’re not out until af comes Hun. My friend had two negatives and was pregnant. Can get false negatives. So stay positive and sending lots of baby dust and keeping fingers crossed.

Pathetic but i feel almost scared to go to the loo today ... don’t want to see af and then know I will be scared to test! :/ x

Oh Delilah, I'm so sorry. Did the doctor have any idea what is going on with your cycle?

@Kescilly unfortunately. All I got was a receptionist tell me they were normal and I was not pregnant.
So so gutted. Don't know why I thought it would happen so quickly. I'm so naive. And so want this that I've got too invested.

That really sucks, lots of hugs for you. Can you do something nice for yourself today? Something small to look forward to?

You were hopeful because you want it so much and there's nothing wrong with that. It means that you will one day be a loving mom to a much wanted baby.

@Kr250710 @Kescilly thank you ladies. That's all it is. I was born to be a mum like most of you ladies are too. I just want it bad. Haven't told OH yet :( now I'm hoping I will have my ovulation dead on this month. I'm 28days cycle so I'm 6cd so should be fertile 11th - 15th and ovulation day of 14th sounds about right? Xx

Actually think it's from 9-14th with 14 being ovulation day. Does that sound right?

I think that it can be difficult to know and many couples estimate incorrectly. Personally I'd suggest doing it every other day throughout your cycle. Or if that's not possible (many couples can't for various reasons) then I'd consider using ovulation tests if you want to be precise about timing.

There's nothing wrong in estimating and not using OPKs, as long as you realize that there is a margin of error in estimating it yourself.

My app is estimating a 27 day cycle and my monitor gave me cd9-14 as my fertile days. But for all I know it could be different next cycle.

@Kescilly I'm too (tmi) tight and have pain due to this sometimes during sex so every other day throughout the whole cycle would be a lot for me. I'd prefer to try find a window that we could do it everyday and then have my break... but that might not work. Maybe I'd try the sticks at some point x

@Delilah7 I'm so sorry Hun, and to hear it from a receptionist with no opportunity for questions sucks. It sounds like your FW is about right. Get on him every other day from now I would though just to keep all bases covered.

@HidCat I will try it's just difficult as due to the pain my sex drive isn't particular high and his is so we clash about that but i will especially from now till next weekend! I'll have to have some luck surely! X
