Period now positive pregnancy test

Hi Ladies, I had a normal period that started when expected 12 days ago. Wasn't quite as painful as usual but still pretty average. Today cd12 I've had 2 positive pregnancy tests. Quite faint but definitely there and not with fmu. I have a long cycle and about 3.5-4weeks from ovulation. Is this possible? Could I have had an early miscarriage but would a pregnancy test still be showing positive 12 days later?

Forgot to say the reason I took a test was I'm now having brown discharge and slight cramps and the last time I had these was when pregnant.

@misstilly it's possible. I had hcg in my system 3 months after my MC. If the tests get darker then get to a doc to see what's going on. Hope it's good news!

I'm sorry to say I had a similar situation - positive urine pregnancy test after a period, got my blood hCG measured and it wasn't increasing as expected, it unfortunately turned out to be an early miscarriage. I hope it turns out to be a happy ending for you, maybe your period was an implantation bleed? Fingers crossed for you

Similar story OP, my last period was on 11th may. Lasted 6 days. Then about four days later, I had a very small bleed that lasted 3 days on wiping only. The 4th day I got a pregnant 1-2 weeks on a clear blue digital. I had a scan at the hospital and nothing in uterus just thickening of womb lining. I've either miscarried early or I'm very early pregnant. I have to go back this Friday for another scan.

Thank you I've taken a first response and digital which says 1-2 weeks which should be around 3 weeks if it's a normal pregnancy. I'm assuming it's a miscarriage bit will phone the doctors tomorrow as I've been getting pain on one side and want to make sure it's not ectopic.

I had a periood with my ds and so didn't find out I was pregnant till ten weeks.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, I phoned 111 and spoke to someone and their main concern was ectopic so sent me straight to hospital. Mine was an early MC in the end but that’s not always the case, best get it checked at the hospital! X

Thank you I've been and had blood test my hcg is 285 and I'm going back Thursday to have it repeated. Isn't looking good though

Hi ladies I slept with my bf April 29 and 30 and may 9 no protection then with my ex once around that time just found out I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant don't know by who tho
