Testing before 14dpo

Who actually got positive result before the first day of when period was due? And if so how many days before did you test?

I know so many people that didn't test positive till 2 or more days after first day of period due.

I'm wondering about testing before... although my impatience getting the better of me. Period would be due Friday.

In a couple of threads I've seen people getting faint lines 9dpo and coming clear and showing on clearblue around 11.

I found out 2 days ago and was 9dpo. Got a positive on a digital today. The first line on Friday was really faint.

9dpo here. It was twins.

10DPO with DD and 9DPO with DS. FRER and IC followed by FRER. Positive digi the day after for both.

@Jenstro20 - yes that's right. I'm too cheap to get one before I know it should be right lol xx

It's very test dependent. Clear blue for example will not detect before you get to 50mi/mol of HCG, which is unlikely to happen before your period is due. But a test such as a first response early detection in 6 units, which is 2 or 3 days after implantation. Also it depends on the quality of the test, a cheapy test which detects low levels of HCG will be harder to read than a good quality one. And blue dye ones are just awful.

Basically, if you want to test before your period, use a first response!

I got a positive at 11dpo.

FRER lines at 10dpo for both my pregnancies. It took a couple of more days until I could get a digital.

I got a faint positive 4 days before my period was due with a FRER this time.

I've ordered a pack of two from amazon. They arrive Tuesday. Thank god for prime!

This pregnancy - IC faint positive at 9dpo, strong positive at 10dpo.

Last pregnancy - strong positive 11 dpo.

Positive on FRER at 12dpo
