2 days late for period- still no bfp

I was wondering if anyone had got their bfp late and what symptoms they had? I have a 23 day cycle usually and am now on cd 25. I’m producing an unusual amount of milky discharge, it’s actually making me feel uncomfortable. I took a test this morning on an internet cheapie and it was negative. I have some symptoms- tingly nipples, mild cramps, fatigue and I keep feeling dizzy. I’m in a foul mood when I’m about to come on and I can literally feel my mood drop but I feel so happy and calm. Really hoping for this to be it but reading how others get their bfp on the day of their missed period or even earlier is quite dishearting been trying for over a year now and have never been this late.

I had this too - I was due on on Friday and normally have really bad crippling cramps and have terrible moods when I’m due on but I haven’t this month. My test was also negative this morning.. but keeping all Fingers crossed! X

I had just some really small amounts of bleeding but it 100% wasn’t like my normal period.
The mind is a really powerful thing though and I think I’ve convinced myself month after month I have symptoms and it’s always been negative and it’s just the worst! I’ve read every single forum and website going on pregnant and found that everybody has different experiences so I just try and stay positive when I have something “different”.

I'm in a similar boat.

Normally 20-21 day cycle and currently on cd22 (normally come on overnight).

I've had a really strong metallic taste in my mouth that I can't get rid of for the last 24 hours. Trying not to convince myself that I'm upduffed. BFN this morning.

This is the story of my life! I believe I have symptoms all the time and then I have a late period. I’m convinced my nipples are darker this month but I try so hard to not convince myself to avoid the upset if you know what I mean..

@CheshEm Ditto! It's such a pain in the neck - I wish it could all be a bit more definite and we didn't have to do so much guessing each month! Fingers crossed that this is the one!

I'm 10 days late now and still a negative, I had spotting about 13 days before I was due on. I don't feel any different, trying not to get my hopes up. I know how you feel reading things on Internet everyone seems to get a + result before or in the day of missed AF! When I was pregnant with my LG I didn't get a + until 2 weeks after I was due on, even then it was the faintest line ever - one of those ones where you had to squint!!! Fingers crossed for you x

Is the bleeding typically before the period is due or can it be at the same time? I’ve read conflicting things but the bleeding I’ve had did not feel like a period for me that I usually have.
I’m glad it’s not just me as I felt it was for a long time and I felt that getting pregnant for me was near impossible!! Driving me up the wall. Fingers crossed for everyone then! X

I didn't get bfp until 5 days after AF due, so there is hope! My baby is in my arms as I type. I had pretty much given up hope, I'd been testing every day for a week, then suddenly there it was. Good luck xx

@CheshEm if it’s not your usual period then you’re not out yet! I keep thinking I’ve come on because of how much discharge is down below and I keep having little twinges off period pain. Fingers crossed for you x

@ohnonotanotherusername I keep telling myself “nope just a late period you’ll come on soon” this is just torture. Have you been to the doctors about your short cycle? I’m in the middle of getting seen/waiting for blood tests. Fingers crossed for you xx

@Htaylor182 omg 10 days late I’d be going out of my mind!! How long are your cycles usually? Maybe it’s the same again and you’ll get your bfp late, strange how it all works. Good luck to you x

@Comeonlittleone I had bleeding and thought it was just my period starting but it sort of never came. I had cramps too and I thought they were just starting off mild but nothing ever came from them so don’t lose hope. Hearing from other people in the same situation makes me feel better. I hope you get the result you want! X

@Comeonlittleone not yet. Definitely going to if it's still this short in a few months time - wanted to see whether or not it would sort itself out. Little bit worried about it as I seem to ov at around cd12/13 which would mean my LP is faaaaaaar too short. We'll see.

I’ve come on this morning

Going to buy a clear blue fertility monitor for this month and keep on going! Trying to look at it as a positive and hope that my cycles are starting to lengthen out.

Hello I need help so my last period was April 2 and then had spotting the 28th of April for 2 days . I'm irregular . I'm 48 days late now I'm spotting again , what's going on ?

@tiny1309 have you been to the doctor? They can do blood tests and look into it. I'm glad your bleeding was near your period though and not heavy, I was the same and I still haven't properly come on yet x

@CheshEm no I haven't went to the doctor I was gonna go next week but today I started spotting brown blood . And i don't know what's wrong . What should I do ?

@tiny1309 I would definitely go and get a blood test from the doctor if you think you could be pregnant. I know somebody who had no symptoms and was showing up negative on tests but went into the hospital with chest pains and they did bloods and found she was pregnant. Good luck! X
