Confused at 6dpo

So (because Im nuts) just took a pg test 7days since static smiley opk and this came up (within 3 mins). Indent? Flooded? Take a non ic? Help! x

That looks very positive! But yeah strange to get such a dark line only 6dpo! Definitely get a different test and test again...keep us updated! :)

That looks pretty convincing! I'd suggest you're maybe a bit further along than 7 DPO. Or it's twins! Cheapies rarely get that dark until way later.

(I'd get a digi and see what weeks it gives you. Even though it's not an exact science it will guide you a bit.)

I’m not certain but perhaps your opk was reading pregnancy hormones rather than ovulation? I’m not sure you can get a line like that at 6dpo as implantation would only just be starting

Was your last period of normal length / flow?

Thanks for replying! Last period was 2 days late (but had started taking pregnacare) lasted my normal 3 days medium-light flow but more bright red than usual followed by a few days spotting. I did wonder about the opk but assumed clear blue dual was too clever to mistake it? x

HcG and LH are very similar, so an OPK can pick up pregnancy but a pregnancy test can't pick up OV.

First thing I did this morning was look at the test to make sure I hadnt just dreamt it DH delighted too. The only thing Ive felt different these last few weeks is an ache in my groin like a pulled muscle (thought that was due to all the bd in fw )
