Am I pregnant !? Advice PLEASE 😥

Hi all,
Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for a long time now but it just doesn’t seem I can get pregnant!?

I was due on on the 18th of this month and I started bleeding very lightly. Since then I bled very lightly on the Friday (18th) and the Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Not like my usual period at all with no cramps, and overnight I’ve had no bleeding whatsoever. Today, I also woke up with no blood overnight and haven’t bled all morning. This blood was brown and pink in colour with some almost ‘stringy’ discharge in it but very small amounts. Around an hour ago, I started with bright red blood which was on a tissue but now it has stopped again (again no cramps). I normally get very bad period pains and it causes spots, but I didn’t get that this month.
I’ve also eaten like a horse over the last 2 weeks and had darkened nipples with a constant nipple on (sorry for the information) which isn’t like me.

I was just wondering could this be an irregular bleed in early pregnancy/implantation bleed or anything else? Going off your own experiences...

I’ve read and read and read hundreds of websites and other people’s experiences. I’ve found the mind is a very powerful thing and can convince you that you have symptoms when you don’t and then AF comes and it is very disappointing - I’ve been through months of this Feeling !

Stupid question but have you taken a test?

Not yet - probably should have added that on! I have done so many over the past year or so I wanted to wait a few days before I did it again. Only because I hate the disappoint of seeing it being negative.. perhaps I’m just trying to keep the hope alive!

Try testing? You’re far enough over your period due date to get a reasonably accurate result.

Nobody here can tell you. You need to test. Good luck. How long have you been trying?

It does sound like possibly just a light period, but you'll only know for sure if you take a test.

I'm sure a test will give you the answers.

We started trying in February 2016 but we both work full time and I work strange shifts so some days I wasn’t at home so we weren’t ‘properly’ trying it that’s the right word?
We have since began tracking things and trying repeatedly for the last 7/8 months or so
