Hi ladies,

Am TTC having had a missed MC in Jan. Totally took it out of me and I'm now cautious I'm being over hopeful with the below. But..

Am 12dpo. Have had fuller feeling boobs, v enhanced sense of smell, hungry all the time and slept 12hrs on Friday night which is unheard of except for when I was pregnant before. Temp was 36.4 a couple of days ago and I thought I was out but decided to test after it went up to 36.5 (tiny amount I know) this morning. I thought I could see the faintest hint of a line but so faint I was questioning myself. In photos it didn't show. Anyway, came back to the test 20 mins later (clutching at straws I know) and there is a blue line. Totally a squinter but there. Have read that evap lines are grey not coloured.

Please could I get your honest opinions?

Am I going mad / setting myself up for disappointment give it's out of the allotted time?

I think I can see a shadow of something but those tests can be tricksy. I know it's the same old advice everyone dishes out but try again tomorrow with a FRER?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, better hot foot it to the chemist that stocks them. Oof mother nature can be a cow.

I have had 2 faint positives on those tests on 2 different cycles and neither time was I pregnant so I'm incredibly wary of them. I'm crossing everything for you op but please try with a pink dye test x

Thanks Foxy. Wow, it is shocking to think that something that markets itself as so accurate could produce false positive results. I'll stay away from blue dye in the future. Were your false positives evaps in the end then?

All my clear blues looked like this or darker before I was pregnant. I would never encourage someone that I see a line on them, they are terrible. That doesn’t mean you aren’t though! I echo getting a FRER. Good luck x

Panoramarama they both had colour to them so I have no idea! Tested with a Tesco blue line test and got a line on that last month, either I've had 3 chemicals in a row or blue dye tests are dodgy! Frer was negative each time. I'm not even sure I'm ovulating so I highly doubt I was pregnant any of the times xx
