When to take a urine prego test

Hello! I am TTC and just wanted to know when I should take a pregnancy test at home. My period is a day late.

If your period is late you can take one now and it would show a positive x

Maybe take one now and then a week later, with my DS I took one a day or two after I was due and it was negative but then a week later I was positive.

I just did. But it's negative :(

I should repeat it after a week?

Yes, repeat in a week if AF hasn't shown up.
