2 days late, negative first response

I’m driving myself mad here. Been TTC number 2 for about 5 months. My periods are always like clockwork and I have a 27 day cycle. Period was due on Wednesday and has not arrived. I had bad cramps on tues night and on and off for Wednesday as well as back pain. I even took two painkillers on wed as I was convinced my period was coming.

Anyway on wed afternoon I did a FRER and it was negative, tried again yesterday morning and got another negative.

Today I am absolutely shattered. This was my first symptom with my DD but I also felt very nauseous early on with her too which I don’t feel now.

I’ll be near a boots tonight and I’m not sure if I should buy more tests or just wait a few more days for my period to arrive

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What was the outcome?

I'm of absokutely no help as I am in the exact same position. I am now 8 days late. But did a FRER 6 days early, negative. On morning AF was due, negative..and two cheapies in the week since and both negative. Same as yourself AF usually like clock work. I had myself convinced I was pregnant but nope, seems my body just playing games. I was holding on to the fact a lot of people said they had been a week late before they got a positive test but it hasn't been the case for me :(

I'm kind of in a similar situation. Period is 3 days late. Got a couple of negatives, and then today a hint of a line. Have also had episodes of being very tired.

Here's my faint line. It is there, but only just so I'm not sure if things are ok. I've just ordered some tests on prime 2hr delivery.... That's how disciplined I am.

mrs 8 days you poor thing. It’s so frustrating isn’t it?! I have read about people not getting a BFP for a few weeks so hopefully you’re not out yet.

Gruffalo I cant see your pic for some reason but a faint line is still a line so I would think you are pregnant congratulations, I hope it all goes well for you. Is this your first?

I’m sitting outside boots now and I’m going to get a test to do in the morning. Deep down I know I’m not pregnant because I don’t feel like I did the last time but there’s still this niggle in my head telling me not to give up
