How early will a FRER work??

So I'm on the tww and am around 6-7 days po (although not totally sure!) I've been having loads of symptoms; boobs feel like when I was bfing, discharge, really hungry ALL THE TIME, very fatigued and in bed by 8pm. I know these may well be all in my head though! I'm meant to be going out with work tonight; can a frer work this early??? If not then can I drink? It will look pretty suspect if I don't! Thanks!

I think you can get one that works about 6 days before period is due. But don't worry, as the saying goes, drink til it's pink! You don't share a blood supply until about 5ish weeks so you're fine until you get a positive!

They are only about 60% accurate 5/6 days before your period us due, you have to wait til it is late to be confident of the result. As the other poster says you'd be OK to drink at this stage.

They work within 24hrs of implantation. But you don't always know when implantation occurs! So for some people they'll work at 8dpo but for others, it won't be until 13dpo.

This bit is so nerve wracking! I think you need to wait another couple of days... I got a positive at 10 DPO - but, I think that is still quite early. Try again at 10!

Who are we kidding... if you're anything like me, you'll probably test twice daily until it's in or your def out for the month!

Good luck 🤞
