I'm coming go the end of TWW I'm 7dpo and I bounce between feeling like it might've worked this time and thinking it's failed again this is my 3rd cycle we have been trying since February I took 2 tests today both where BFN. I'm taking pre pregnancy vitamins my DP is on vitamins we have changed our diets the only thing is we both still smoke we are quitting next month though and my DP drinks every now and then. I can't think of anything else to change or try to make this work. I have started BBT and OPK'S. anything else I need to do. I only came off the mini pill in February.

In the nicest possible way OP I think you need to relax a bit more over it. 3 months is no time at all: took us over a year with DS but fell pregnant straight away with second pregnancy so there's no logic to it. I think the average is around 6 months. Definitely a good idea to both stop smoking though. Good luck.

Thank you maxiflump1 I promised myself I wouldn't get so focused on it all this month and I have again it's probably my fault it's not working. Oh yeah it was my idea to quit I thought it might help to improve our chances a bit because I really can't think of anything else that might help. Thank you hopefully I will get my BFP soon.

Yes 3 months is not long at all, though I know it feels like a lifetime when trying. It took us 9 months and we got pregnant after I stopped using ovulations sticks and tracking ovulation etc.as advised by doctor. Apparently stress is a big factor (as is smoking, drinking excessively, having a high BMI etc.), though it doesn’t seem anyone really understands how. There also always seems to be some friend/colleague who gets pregnant straight away and maybe skews your view of what’s normal. As pp says it’s a bit of a lottery, even for people doing all the right things it can take years. Try not to worry- I know easier said than done!!

Thank you Alibaba87 it feels like we have been trying forever and getting nowhere. I have been really stressed these last few months over some personal stuff which probably hasn't helped at all and I know I need to lose weight which is why I'm trying to change my diet and eat more fruit and veg and walk more. Just feels like everyone around me is getting pregnant at the drop of a hat and I can't for love nor money. Thank you I will try and find ways of helping me to relax and just forget about it all the less I think about it and the more I focus on other things might help.
