Hello.

So I thought I was out this month before I began as I was away on my actual o day according to app. However I dtd once about 3 and 4/5 days prior. Usually my app is out by about s day as I can usually tell when I ovulate so again thought I was out as haven't felt anything. Still think it's prob unlikely but so hard not to symptom spot, I'm not being as bad as last month scrutinising every niggle but hear are some that I have come across;

Between about 2-4 dpo a lot of cm that felt very wet when wiped and was very creamish and quite a bright yellow in colour mixed in
A very odd feeling near left ovary which felt like a pulsing quite sharp, possibly like something trying to fit through- which could have been ovulation but would have been quite a bit later than usual and I only ever usually feel in right side & it's more a dull ache than this feeling
Quite tired (naps/ early to bed) but not falling asleep at my desk tired
General off feeling - not Ill but like I'm coming down with something
And once about 3-4 dpo I went to toilet for wee and felt like I had to squeeze it out and had quite a bad pain in kidney area which then let up & haven't had since

That plus the yellowish cm has made me a bit concerned I may have a uti but this was about 3 days ago now and nothing further.

So if anyone has any advice or wants to join in their symptom spotting as I couldn't find a May bus then feel free Smile

My advice is don’t symptom spot lol

Seriously though, your tww symptoms are simply due to rising progesterone and nothing to do with whether you’ve conceived or not. You’ll just drive yourself crazy with it.

Good luck anyway :)

P.s. stop symptom spotting!

WhitleyBae · 16/05/2018 20:08

It's impossible it to symptom spot! I'm 9dpo and convinced I'm out for the month now. Feeling excessively tired which prob has more to do with moving house than being pregnant as much as I'm hoping for it!

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/05/2018 21:23

@Bubblegum89 I know but it's super hard not to & everyone does it. I'm actually nowhere near as bad this month, last month was first ttc so think I just thought t would happen I'm more realistic this time but still like to discuss with people in same boat

@WhitleyBae fx for you! Why do you think you're out? When you going to test? I need to try and hold off this month!!

Well if you’re not going to take my extremely helpful advice (I’ve been ttc for almost two years so it’s definitely not unfounded) then I’ll just say that it is totally normal for healthy couples to take up to a year to conceive. So I mean, you can drive yourself insane over symptoms that mean nothing if you wish, I think we all have at one time or another, but definitely be open-minded about the length of time it can take to get pregnant. I think most people go into this with the assumption it’ll happen once you have unprotected sex because that’s what you get told at school but it’s better to be realistic. Hopefully it won’t take you too long and I hope you don’t end up rocking silently in a corner due to all the crazy symptom spotting!

sprinkleofsunshine · 16/05/2018 22:16

@Bubblegum89 nope very aware how long it can take. Under no illusions there and I do hope it works out well for you shortly. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that some people just like to discuss these things and like to discuss with others in the same position, even though we all know it's too early realistically.

Hello! So I'm 3 days til AF is due. Had sore boobs all week which I never have before AF. Bad back, cramping and now I've noticed my urine being really pale in the mornings. I've not read that as a sign before. I'm sure people will say it just means that I'm hydrated but it's unusual for the morning, plus I didn't drink alot yesterday. Hoping everything is alright!

WhitleyBae · 17/05/2018 06:55

@sprinkleofsunshine usually about a week before af I'll get some spotting/brown cm (I have a cervical ectropion - basically some cells that are meant to be inside are on the outside so it can cause a bit of bleeding)

I know I'm on track for af when that appears.

Had a mc in September from a totally unexpected pregnancy so can't remember if i had this pre bleed when I conceived or not but just assume that it means it's coming, as noticed it yesterday - fx it's not though!!

sprinkleofsunshine · 21/05/2018 14:18

@WhitleyBae @CookieWaffle how you both getting on? Fx for you both.

I took a test yest at 10dpo and got a bfn :-(

@sprinkleofsunshine af arrived yesterday Sadgutted but on to June! My v. Pregnant friend told me that all of the stuff that's supposed to bring on labour (raspberry leaf tea, pineapples etc) is also supposed to help conception - that's what I'm focusing on now for the next cycle!

sprinkleofsunshine · 21/05/2018 15:49

Oh I'm sorry to hear that @WhitleyBae fx for you for June! Oh interesting, quite likely I'll be joining you on the June cycle so will remember that, I love pineapple Grin

Can I join ladies? I'm due AF tomorrow and haven't tested yet! I've had the exact same pains you've described, @sprinkleofsunshine ! Other symptoms include...

-Sharp pain in lower abdomen when stretching in any way.
-feeling nauseous on and off
-extreme fatigue (almost fell asleep on the bus)
-twinges and prodding feelings in belly
-more frequent urination

Good luck to all! Smile x

sprinkleofsunshine · 21/05/2018 16:15

Welcome @Kate123cl and fx for us! I did get a bfn yest at 10dpo but still clinging on until af arrives! Having some stabbing pains in groin today, fallen asleep 3 tines ovef the weekend and feel awful today ( though think that's a cold more than anything)

Hi ladies, I'm 5dpo (approx). I'm terrible for symptom spotting! Today I've been having cramps, even though I know it's too early to really be feeling anything I can't help getting carried away! So glad I'm not the only one x

sprinkleofsunshine · 21/05/2018 18:04

Hi @KimRobs87 you're definitely not the only one! Are you ttc your first?

Kate123cl · 21/05/2018 18:05

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 18:16

What do you think?! It's clearer in person....my heart is racing!!!

Is anyone in their tww and want to symptom spot with me?
FingersXssd83 · 21/05/2018 19:15

I had a very early pregnancy test at the hospital the other week which came back BFN but I'm still symptom spotting like a loon :-)

I'm approx 7 DPO and had a few sharp pains in my left groin. Oh, and my nips were mega sore for about 4 days after ov but then settled down.

We're on cycle 12 now, getting a bit bummed out with TTC #1

FingersXssd83 · 21/05/2018 19:16

@Kate123cl That looks positive to me, congratulations! x

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 19:18

Kate123cl · 21/05/2018 19:18

@FingersXssd83 thank you so much! I really hope it's right Grin xx
