Night workers

Hi,

I work 3nights a week and had a MC at 6 weeks, I have since read that night staff have a 30% higher chance of MC. I have changed my nights from 3 in a row to a one on, one off so I have a break in between shifts.
Are there any night workers who have managed to conceive and any tips on how they managed night shifts whilst pregnant.

Thank you

I also worked three nights, I fell pregnant by surprise so don't really have any tips on how it happened 😅. I also had a great pregnancy just felt as normal until the later stages when I'm need a seat more due to achy feet. Sorry not really much help x

Thank you very much for your response @Topicana123

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

My job isn't the most active, we spend a lot of time sat still which I'm not sure helps either.

I work one night and two day shifts a week. I don’t really have any tips though, the night is hard tbh. I felt a lot more sick at the start and now at 23 weeks I’m just really tired. We just sit around for most of the night which I think is worse too because the night goes slower and I get restless legs and a bad back. So maybe just go for a walk every so often if you can.
I do have a 15 month old too and I worked nights when I was pregnant with her. Sorry that I wasn’t much help at all!
Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, good luck for the future.
