Hi all,

Had a routine scan Saturday, to check my womb and ovaries because ttc has taken its time. Well it's come back today I have a lump behind my uterus. Bee referred to gyne on a two week wait, been advised to stop ttc but already into my fertile week, so there is already a chance, scared and emotional. Haven't stopped shaking since.

Any advise from anyone whose been here before? Please.

Hi @ClaryFray, I haven’t had this but I didn’t want to read and not reply. Flowers

I’m not surprised you’re shaken, how long is the wait to see the gyne? X

@ClaryFray- have they said what it could be?
Maybe it’s a fibroid or something like that? I know we all have a tendency to jump to be worse conclusion but I’m sure it’s something hormonal like a fibroid x

@EverythingNow I've bee referred on an emergency two week wait. So soon I hope. Thank you.

@Kate8989 the doctor said I can't be fibroids because it's outside the womb. I have no idea. Just very scared.

@ClaryFray- bless your heart. It’s so stressful being a woman!!! It could be a cyst or something? Your pouch of Douglas (space between rectum and womb) could have formed a cyst or harmless growth. I know it’s easier said than done but please don’t Google. I’m going through a few things myself at the moment and Google has actually made me a lot worse so stay away!!!!! X

I had a penduculted fibroid which is OUTSIDE the womb.
I’m not saying it is that but could well be. They left it in place as removing them can weaken the uterus. It went away on its own after I had my lovely DS

It’s basically a fibroid on the outside which is joined to the uterus with fibrous tissue. Mine was a bit painful
