Anyoe else have this happen?

I was due AF last Thursday, currently 5 days late. Did a FRER on Thursday then again on Saturday at 3 days late both negative.

My cycle is 28days like clockwork. Has anyone else been in this position and turned out pregnant? Or is my cycle just playing with my head. I have read if levels of HCG isn't high enough a pregnancy test won't come up positive until a week or so late but I don't want to get my hopes up!

Potentially it's just late your right about HCG levels the only thing you can do is another test in a couple of days or a blood test at the doctors.

In my case, it was always a very late period, which is just the pits when you're trying to get pregnant.
But you never know.
I have always had a clockwork cycle, so late periods really threw me. Now that I am no longer trying to get pregnant, I never get late periods.

@TheVanguardSix nooo really? It's such a head melt isn't it I suppose I will just have to have patience and wait it out. It was DH's birthday at the weekend and he was fully convinced I had news to announce LOL.

I’m in the same position MrsMDD, currently 3 days late and too many BFN than I care to admit 🙈 I feel neither pregnant nor just about to come on. The Frer that I took on Saturday (week before period due) has a slight line where a line should be, but it’s not got any colour to it and it didn’t come up within the time frame. Have taken two (shoot me now) IC today and both stark white! I’m off camping on Tuesday and won’t be taking any tests with me. Can’t help peeing on things while at home though. Praying the witch stays away! Let’s hope we get some answers soon 🐝xx

Wow @BeeKeeping, that's exactly how I feel, don't feel at all like AF is arriving but don't feel pregnant at all either! What are IC tests? I'm just about getting all lingo here but I havn't heard of that one

They say until you have the line its all Good? I had some wine in Saturday after getting the BFN anyway..needed a pick me up lol

I have been 5 days late for no obvious reason, perhaps I didn't ov or ov'd late that cycle.

Re. the drinking; I'm 7 weeks and was drinking wine right up to the day before my bfp (13dpo). The embryo wouldn't connect itself to your blood supply until after this point (think the placenta forms around week 6 or 7) so it's okay if you've had one recently.

@MrsMDD this happened to me last cycle! I was 5 days late (although my periods are light, I have a regular 28 day cycle). I had other pregnancy type symptoms (and my BBT was staying high) and was convinced that I was pregnant but only BFNs. Then my BBT started to drop and AF came. I was told it may have been that an embryo formed but didn't attach to my uterus (but who knows). I was devastated when AF came as I really felt pregnant. Thanks @SoozC, I've been much better then I would usually be just had two glasses so not too bad. @TTC7 I think that's where it's headed and it's just a waiting game really. Although I don't feel pregnant I just also don't feel as if AF is going to come either! Wishful thinking i'd say. Thank you and I hope you get your BFP soon!

@BeeKeeping I am sorry to hear another BFN that's what has me afraid to test again, trying to leave it until Thursday when I will be a week late but it's very hard..Hope you have a lovely camping trip and get to relax xx
