EWCM / Ovulation / OPK?

We are in our third cycle of trying to conceive, so I’m still fairly new at understanding ovulation etc. It’s all a mine field! It’s made me realise how very lucky we were to conceive our DS (now 6) o the first cycle.

So, we BD on Tuesday morning (CD13). Yesterday (CD16) I had a lot of EWCM. My husband was out last night (much to my annoyance) so we didn’t get to BD. This morning I still had EWCM. Took an OPK and yet it was still negative. Had cramping this afternoon and now I have no cervical mucus at all. We were planning on BD tonight, but could I have ovulated this afternoon despite having negative OPK? Does dry as a bone now mean that it’s game over this month?
Feel angry with my other half because he doesn’t put the effort in to BD’ing at the right time, yet he says he really wants another baby. Think he just thinks they arrive on a bloody stork!

No useful advice, but some solidarity.
I'm yet to have had a positive OPK but my dr tests have confirmed I am ovulating.

Now i just guess based on when I have watery or EWCM (Only get true EWCM every few months).

If you're dry then yes, I think tajt does mean you're probably out of luck this month.

Think I’m going to give up on the OPK tests, it just another test showing negative which then makes me feel disappointed!
