Nexplanon removal & complications

Hey ladies
I’ve had 2 implants back to back Lasting 7 years, not had a period the whole time, was happy about it as mine used to be horrendous.
My husband & I decided to try for a baby, so had it removed nearly 5 months ago now (December 17) still no sight of period but getting agonising pain every month, loose bowels, constipation, cronic abdominal pain, shooting pains up my back passage & lower back ache, I would go as far to say it’s like labour pains.
Had a blood test, not the menopause, waiting on an ultrasound & internal scan.
The word endometriosis has been mentioned 😳
Could Nexplanon have caused this?

No, endometriosis is something you’re born with the propensity for, it’s not caused by anything. If you’ve alwyas had horrendous periods that’s likely a sign, the implant stopping your periods has just meant you haven’t noticed symptoms. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply, Had my internal scan, very painful, go wait to see my doctor for the results although he did say there was abnormal thickening of the uterus, & wants to see me again in 10 weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️ Still none the wiser 🙄
