Constant almost positive OPKs never a real Pos!?

Please help...
I'm going bloody insane.
Been tracking ovulation (ha) I have consistent for weeks 'almost positives' so nice clear line but not quite as dark as the control line... this has been going on about 2 weeks now what the hell am I supposed to make of that? I'm on day 45 of my cycle & had this now since around day 30. (still breastfeeding so they're all over the place really) has anyone else experiences this or know what it means? I would really appreciate any advice...

I'm not sure what it means when you have cycles, but I used opks almost daily for 6 months while breastfeeding my son and I got loads of almost positives, often for many days in a row. Obviously in that whole time I wasn't ovulating, but my understand was that my body was trying to surge but never quite hit the mark. My cycles came back 2 weeks after I stopped feeding and I still didn't get a proper positive until the second cycle, which makes me think the first cycle after my period returning was anovulatory, which I understand is pretty common.

Breastfeeding can interfere with ovulation, though of course many women conceive while breastfeeding!

I've also read quite a few women who have gotten pregnant despite never managing to get a positive opk, so perhaps this will be the case for you!

Thanks for the reply 8days I have had 2 cycles they only started back a few months ago & the first were 28 days apart but obviously I know this probably isn't going to be the case every month whilst breast feeding... I'm trying to attach pics, were yours like this? Maybe you're right about trying to ovulate but not getting there...!

Oh wow yours were super dark even before I probably would of mistaken them for a positive! Thanks for your help... I think I'm gonna give up on OPKs until I've stopped BF completely 😂
