I would like to TTC baby number 3. My DC are 4 and 6. I have been thinking about a third for 4 years. Basically while pushing out DC 2. However, I found it difficult with my first two 20 months a part and sometimes wondered if I should just stick at two. But 4 years on, my heart tells me I want to go for the third. We are doing well financially and have the room for a third. My dc are a lot easier and I have an au pair. Basically, it is an ideal time for a third child. I wanted to try this month, but my father unfortunately passed away and I had to leave for a couple of weeks when he became ill and stayed on as I wanted to be there for him and my mom. Then of course make funeral arrangements. So we missed the fertility boat this month. However, my good friend has invited us out to a beach holiday in July. We could stay with her, but its a 9 hour flight. I know my kids would absolutely love it. I am very close with her and it is much needed after this difficult time. However, I worry if I do conceive and travelling on a 9 hour flight while early stages pregnant and two weeks in a beach area where there are mosquitos (my sister mentioned dengue fever). So my question is...wait to TTC or just go for it? The first two pregnancies were great. I felt great from the start to finish :) I am hoping the same for the third. Although, I was a bit more tired during the second one and sleeping by 8pm. But I had a full time job and a 12 month old to look after at the time so that could have been it.
Anyway, thoughts please? Wait it out? Go for it?
