TTC first baby cycle one! Anyone else out there?

So.... first baby 🤞🏼🙏🏽🤞🏼🙏🏽 Meant to be ovulating tomorrow. Main challenge atm is keeping things fun with the husband and not making him feel like a baby making machine 😂 How’s it going for other hopeful first time mummy’s?

Do you have any other tests? I'm not going to tell you not to worry because of course you will, but I think tests are only valid during a certain window of time.

Thanks @Delilah7 definitely cautious as just don't feel pregnant at all, so think it maybe wrong.

@Kescilly - yes I have lots! Just got to wait until the need to pee comes again! Going to try a first response next.

@flapjackered your HCG is supposed to double every 48 hours... Test in a day or two and see if it gets stronger. It could look weekend because it urine is more diluted and not FMU. Really excited and have good feelings for you!

hmm, just did a first response and it's a bfn. I will try not to test until Saturday and try again, but looks like the first test might have been wrong.

@flapjackered I don't think pregnancy tests can be wrong when they're positive. Its prob just so early one and only you first week of the day can set it off. IV got my fingers crossed for you!!

Welcome newbies @FlapJackered omg congratulations lovely 🎉🎉🎉 so happy for you, have you been to the doctors for a test yet?? @Delilah7 perhaps you tested too early, fingers crossed for you.
I'm going to try the raspberry leaf tea to shorten cycles... it's such a long wait for me!😭

Took a first response this morning and got nothing, not even a hint of a line, so I think that first one was an error sadly 🙁
I will test again in a few days but it was probably wishful thinking.

Ladies I thought AF was here but... it's stopped. Bare in mind it was only the browney start of it.. but now it's gone away lol. Hopefully she will return!

AF does like to play tricks on us!
In a way it's nice to get AF as then you can focus on the next cycle.
That's the annoying thing about my long cycles I have no idea if I am late or not. Feel completely in the dark! 🤷🏻‍♀️

@flapjackered that's so wierd... HPT should never really do that... Just keep your eye on things and I'm sure you'll know soon. Such a frustrating situation!
@delilah you'll have to keep and eye on things too. Could implantation bleeding but could be start of AF... I wouldn't want to get your hopes up... Just got to stay open minded I guess which again is a frustrating situation.

@Trying1stBaby just very confusing. I thought I'd be on today so I'm convinced it's a period. Plus I'm 15dpo so implantation is surely too late. Thanks lovely xx

Are you tracking ovulation, @Delilah7? Or assuming you ovulated on cd14?

Can't imagine how annoying the long cycles are, @FlapJackered and @rosesandponies. Is this the sort of thing you can address with a doctor or is it just one of those things?

@Kescilly well no I've not guessed. I went off my app that said day 17 I ovulated. Which would be wrong if I base my spotting on period wise now as it would be a few days longer than it will be this month.

Yeah, I don't think my app has gotten it right this cycle either. Which one are you using? I don't have enough patience to check temp and CM and all, so I just use sticks and the CB monitor and ignore the app.

Right guys. Defo not on my period how I thought I was going to be. Only appears when I wipe pretty much. Brown and I think I can see pinkish in there. What does this all mean. I'm so confused now 😂😂😂
