Hello,

New to this and looking for advice, I'm 33 with a daughter of 9 years and have been ttc with new partner for two years with no luck. I'm overweight and have gained some over the past couple of years, had formations of cysts and symptoms of PCOS many years ago but nonetheless conceived naturally and (accidentally) at 22.

I had hoped that this would mean that conceiving again wouldn't be so problematic but over the past 2 years my cycles have become longer and longer (currently on day 53, longest 81!) and I'm losing hope.

Has anyone been in a similar position? Have used You but have never had what feels like a "for sure" second line, only days on end with an almost as dark line.

Any advice gratefully received!

Have you been to the GP for blood tests, and have you tried charting?

I came off the pill nearly a year ago and my periods are getting further apart, last two 42 and 48 days. I've gone back to OPKs and am charting to check if I am at least ovulating. If you're not there are things hey can give you to try and help, it sounds like the GP would be a good place to go next.
