Hi all,

I’m new to this and not sure if this is the best place to post!

About 2 months ago my mirena coil came out, I hadn’t had periods whilst having it and so didn’t know my cycle. About 3 weeks later on the 2nd April I got my period, probably the heaviest I’ve ever had! On the 24th April I had 2 days of bad cramps that then went away (I wondered if these were implantation cramps as I had these with my previous 2 children).

I assumed I was due another period around the 30th April so being really impatient and having really sore breasts i took a pregnancy test on that day which was negative.

I still haven’t had a period and just wondering how much longer I should wait to retest as I don’t have any idea how long my cycle is?

Is it common for periods to be further apart after the coil without being pregnant?

Thank you!

Wishing lots of luck to all of you TTC x
