Hi ladies,

I'm curios to know, how long has it taken for your cycle to become regular after coming off the pill? X

I was on microgynon about 12 years ago for a few years but came off not to ttc but because of problems with dry eye syndrome that was being exacerbated by the pill. My cycles were irregular before going on the pill. It took 12 months to get a period after I stopped it but once they came back my cycles were more regular than ever (although naturally long at 33-35 days).

@MaGratgarlik1983 that seems a long time to get back to normal cycles but great they were regular! I'm planning on ttc around October, and coming off the pill in August. Unsure of whether I should come off it earlier, plus the curiosity of what my cycle is like is taking over. But I don't know if I can be bothered using condoms for the next 3 months until we're ready to ttc! X

Well I thought mine were regular (between 26-35 ish days but only stepping one or two days at a time) but 8 months after being off the pill I've had a 42 then a 48 day cycle Shock currently CD20 and might be heading for an LH surge but not convinced. Some people are regular straight away.
