Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

Morning, I caved and POAS... is there a squint here or am I making it up?!

Toot toot! June Bus!
Doglady28 · 13/06/2018 06:10

@Babybeany I see a faint line!!!! 🀞🀞🀞
Try again in a couple of days to see if you get a clearer result but I can see something xzz

Babybeany · 13/06/2018 06:14

@Doglady28 I thought I saw it too! I was impatient and POAS at 2:30am when I woke up after about 2 hours... wishing I’d waited until I’d had a longer sleep now! Will have another go tomorrow morning πŸ˜¬πŸ’–

Doglady28 · 13/06/2018 06:34

@Babybeany keeping my fingers crossed. When is AF due?
🀞🀞❀❀ keep us posted!! ❀❀🀞🀞

Babybeany · 13/06/2018 06:41

Af was due on the 11th so I’m 2 days late. Usually like clockwork too. I really hope it’s our turn! We mmc’d last August and have been trying ever since. X

Sictransitgloria · 13/06/2018 07:33

@babybeany I see it Smile

Babybeany · 13/06/2018 08:06

@Sictransitgloria and @Doglady28 we are staying sceptical until I do another test tomorrow morning but I’m so excited! I didn’t think it would ever happen! 😍

Sictransitgloria · 13/06/2018 08:19

@beanybaby exciting!!! Got all my fingers and toes crossed for you!

TheMagicTorch · 13/06/2018 09:11

@Babybeany looks like a line to me too! 🀞 for your next test and keep us posted! So exciting xx

Ksjourney · 13/06/2018 09:19

Fingers crossed @Babybeany definitely a faint line. Hopefully it gets darker.

AF due one week today (if the 29 day cycle holds true) expecting a long week..... though think I'm going to have to test Saturday as it would be lovely to tell DH on Father's Day!

TheMagicTorch · 13/06/2018 10:05

@Ksjourney if my 28 day cycle holds I'll be due next Tuesday, but like you I'll be testing at the weekend in case of a nice Father's Day surprise.

Would anyone tell their Dad on Father's Day, or wait until later on? This would be our first so not sure whether to keep it between DP and I for a few weeks or to tell our parents.

HidCat · 13/06/2018 10:23

@Babybeany I see a line too. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Ksjourney · 13/06/2018 10:50

@TheMagicTorch I went straight over to my parents with the pregnancy test for my first and surprised them with it Smile it was such a lovely moment.

You will need them to support you if things don't go as planned too. Though I would be interested to hear other people's experiences and suggestions

TheMagicTorch · 13/06/2018 10:56

@Ksjourney Aww how lovely! That's what I'd like to do - I think my Dad would love it especially if we had good news on Sunday for him.

Yeah, that's the thing as well isn't it if they know and anything happens we have their support too. I've always thought we would tell our parents straight away and then friends and extended family after the first scan.

NoseringGirl · 13/06/2018 11:10

I've always told my parents (and my in laws) soon after I've found out. It's lovely to be able to share the news with someone and I've also been aware that I'd need their support whatever happened. I couldn't have hidden my second pregnancy from my parents as they had to look after DS1 so much when I was sick!

Ksjourney · 13/06/2018 11:40

@NoseringGirl I can sympathise! I actually had morning sickness before I knew I was pregnant with DD and that lasted for 4 months and was horrific. I am actually counting down the days to AF waiting for the sickness to start Grin

Ksjourney · 13/06/2018 11:41

@TheMagicTorch fingers crossed you do Smile

Spottyyellowdress · 13/06/2018 13:38

@babybeany there’s a line!πŸŽ‰ exciting, keep us updated!

Babybeany · 13/06/2018 14:34

@SpottyYellowDress thank you! Keeping everything crossed for your next cycle. I’ll post another pic tomorrow morning 🀞

Angelmiracle · 13/06/2018 14:48

@Babybeany delighted for you!! Lovely getting another bfp on the thread! Congratulations πŸ’

Do you 'feel' pregnant? Lol I don't feel anything and it's disheartening. I didn't feel it with DS until 8 weeks haha

Angelmiracle · 13/06/2018 14:48

Has anyone with a bfp 'felt' pregnant beforehand?

TheMagicTorch · 13/06/2018 15:30

@NoseringGirl Oh really, bless you! That's lovely and I'm looking forward to people's reactions, particularly my in laws as it's their first grandbaby.

I always thought I'd tell them straight away but it's great hearing from others who have been there and done it Smile

Ksjourney · 13/06/2018 15:41

@Angelmiracle mentioned earlier in the thread that I felt sick before I knew I was pregnant. Hoping no sickness for second time around though.... it is not fun.

Babybeany · 13/06/2018 16:48

@Angelmiracle I feel a little nauseous and have very slight cramps. I’m craving salty food like nuts and crisps. Not too sure if I have made this up though.
Feeling a level of guilt about how much wine I drank on my holiday!! πŸ€ͺ

Angelmiracle · 13/06/2018 17:20

@Ksjourney @Babybeany Thank you for replying!! Hope nausea doesn't get much worse πŸ€žπŸ’
