Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

I'm okay 5DPO but already symptom spotting! Have a fair amount of white, wet discharge - but other than the colour it is a bit more like EWCM than I'm used to? As in a noticeable stretch when I wipe rather than just being on my knickers. Not sure if thst means anything?!

TheMagicTorch · 12/06/2018 11:18

🀞🏻Good Luck @wishful30 Thinking of you
Hope the 2ww isn't too bad for you.

I'm due at the weekend and driving myself mad.

Ksjourney · 12/06/2018 12:01

So entering the interesting phase of my TWW! Usually like clockwork I have a 26 day cycle however last month out of the blue had a 21 day cycle (likely completely missed ovulation as a result). This month the positive ovulation strip fell on what would be typical for a 29 day cycle... who knows what's going on!

So today would be the end of a 21 day cycle and no visit from AF (phew because my DH and I would have missed that boat). So waiting to see if AF shows up for 26 day cycle on the 17th... anyone experienced similar before?

Alex2790 · 12/06/2018 12:02

@Wishful30 if you dont mind me asking how long have you been ttc for? I have been trying for 13 months now i saw the doctor when i had been trying for 12 months she wante me to wait till sept to start testing but i dont think i can its too hard emotionally to wait. Trying to get an appointment at drs to get reffered now x

Ksjourney · 12/06/2018 12:03

I definitely blame the hormones or the stress of the TWW @Angelmiracle! We can not be held responsible for our actions...

Wishful30 · 12/06/2018 12:40

@Alex2790

Hey... it's so mentally draining isn't it!

I have gone privately. I am 35 now (May 5th) and was basically told the same.
Been ttc for almost a year.
I contacted The London Women's Clinic for advice.
I paid for the initial blood test, ultrasound for egg count and semen test.
I think it was about Β£350

I found out I have low egg count, and hormones on the low side but within normal limit.
DH has low volume but perfect otherwise.
So we were advised to intervene now due to egg count diminishing over next few years.
No reason really that we can't conceive.

You do have to have further blood tests/screens
Die put into your uterus to check Fallopian tube patency. All those are about another Β£500

The IUI itself is Β£950 per go without meds and scans. They do a buy 2 get one free type of package.

This is our first. So we went natural given the results of all my tests.
If we go again we will use the tablets, which is more complicated, time scales ect.
The tablets are cheap but you have to have extra scans, I think Β£50 or something.

It's really not cheap. It's not funded by the NHS.
But the NHS won't offer my IVF until I loose weight.
So we're going for this in the meantime.

Hope this helps a bit?

It's all so complicated!

Angelmiracle · 12/06/2018 12:43

Ok ladies I caved in.
Bfn on frer at 9 dpo.
I had myself so worked up yesterday and felt unwell that I had to test. I will not be telling DH he will not want to hear about it.
I actually feel ok about it and can get on with the rest of my day! Until I retest Friday....or tomorrow πŸ˜‚

Owlpatrol · 12/06/2018 13:00

@Ksjourney yes I had that last month 5 days of spotting till I usually had af. Worried it's thrown my ovulation out this month as not had a day really of ewcm and missed the positive opk. So well see but ive had the blood tests confirming ovulation.

@Angelmiracle I want to cave so bad as dp away and want to suprise him on fathers day. Can you tell I've been day dreaming about this? So I really want to test Friday when I'll be 9dpo but I feel completely un pregnant today considering last few days I was hopeful Confused

Angelmiracle · 12/06/2018 13:14

@Wishful30 🀞fx for you! Did you have a HSG done as part of your tests?

Wishful30 · 12/06/2018 13:20

@Angelmiracle
Yes I did. I think you have to as part of the process. X

TheMagicTorch · 12/06/2018 13:58

@Angelmiracle I'm glad you're feeling okay and going about your day alright, 🀞 for your next test. I caved too and tested this morning. BFN.
Had another look through my Flo app as that's all I'm using at the moment.

This is how I'm looking at the moment:
Came off pill and withdrawal bleed: 30/03/18 - 03/04/18
C1: 25 days
AF:24/04/18 - 28/04/18
C2: 28 days
AF: 22/05/18- 26/05/18

So as of today, based on a
28 day cycle = 8dpo

26 day cycle = 11dpo

So I'm 🀞🀞🀞🀞🀞 that my cycle is the longer and I'm just testing too early.... trying to hold off until the weekend now,
like @owlpatrol I so so so want to surprise DP on Father's Day.

TheMagicTorch · 12/06/2018 13:58

Or I'm being totally ridiculous at thinking I'll fall pregnant this quickly!

NoseringGirl · 12/06/2018 15:16

@Ksjourney sounds like my cycles! I'm usually 26 days but sometimes ovulate later and therefore have a slightly longer cycle. I had a 21 day cycle a few months back. I wasn't tracking then but it was likely an anovulatory cycle (I have PCOS and get those sometimes).

Doglady28 · 12/06/2018 16:31

Hey everyone. Feeling blurgh today.
Got aches/pains similar to AF pains.
Headache all day and feel a bit sick and mega tired.
I'm 7 DPO so too early test!!!

Am I over thinking? πŸ€”

Ksjourney · 12/06/2018 16:52

@Owlpatrol I am worried my ovulation was thrown out too! I will be gutted if I have not ovulated this month (read a positive opk doesn't necessarily mean an egg) :s
I'm sure a blood test is much more accurate! Fingers crossed :)

@NoseringGirl Thank you for sharing your experience it is comforting to know it's not unusual to suddenly change when I've been consistent for so long. I was tracking my cycles 6 months before trying and my body was 26 day cycle like clockwork. Since I've started actively trying my body has flipped the script and I don't know what's going on.

HidCat · 12/06/2018 18:09

@Wishful30 I'm keeping so much crossed and praying that there's a little bean getting all cosy in there for you. xxx

Hope everyone is doing ok and not getting too overwhelmed by all the testing. I'm trying to relax about it a bit more now I know my body is roughly as it was before the miscarriage. Just got to get those spermies in before ovulation!

Wishful30 · 12/06/2018 18:22

It's annoyed mr that my FF app has put me down as 'poor' this month πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

As we had to abstain for 5 days pre ovulation, obviously none of the boxes have the green dot.
It lets you put IUI in as a treatment so I'm upset it's telling me my chances are poor.
I know it doesn't mean anything as such, but it's annoying to look at πŸ˜‘

Owlpatrol · 12/06/2018 18:22

I feel so un pregnant today it's unreal I don't know what to do either. I think I might test Friday to get it out my system then Saturday and Sunday for the sake of it. I'm in such a dilemma as well with my job I literally don't know what to do for myself Sad

bubblybrit · 12/06/2018 18:34

@Angelmiracle. Ah it’s so frustrating isn’t it! I’m super tired as well. Got to 3pm today and could have had a nap at work. Might join you in a GP appointment if not pregnant. Not caught up on all the thread yet so apologies if you have said but when are you due to test?

bubblybrit · 12/06/2018 18:41

@Angelmiracle. Just read the rest of the thread and seen a few updates from you. Fx that bfn was due to testing a little too early. Sending you baby dust for the next test xx

bubblybrit · 12/06/2018 18:45

@TheMagicTorch. Same here...thought I would be so laid back when ttc. Not in the slightest. It is my first as well and have been really on edge for the last 6 months. I’m 34 and keep thinking I’ve left it too late and that’s why we haven’t been successful in the last 6 months. Even although I know it can take up to 12 months in reality.

Good luck for your next test xx

Wishful30 · 12/06/2018 19:12

@bubblybrit

I'm 35... which is not too old btw! πŸ‘πŸ»

Have a scroll down to my earlier post and have a read.
We are all different. I think stress and worry is messing up most of our cycles.
Sometimes a simple test can put your mind at ease, but sadly you'll prob have to pay for it, unless you get a nice GP.

Good luck x

bubblybrit · 12/06/2018 19:23

Thanks @Wishful30. I’m going to give it a few more months and then might look into a few options. Albeit we might need to pay for it! Good luck to you as well. I hope you get your BFP soon xx

JustLikeTheySaid · 12/06/2018 21:35

Hmmm tell me to stop scrutinizing every loo paper!!! I'm driving myself mad!!

bubblybrit · 12/06/2018 21:52

@JustLikeTheySaid. I know exactly how you feel. Af is due tomorrow/Thursday and I keep popping to the loo to check that she hasn’t arrived!
