Coming off the pill

Hi ladies. A bit of advice please. I came off the pill in Feb after 8 yrs to start TTC. previously my periods were excruciatingly painful for the first day, sometimes two, and about 5 days. Since coming off the pill though they’ve been virtually pain free and only about 2-3 days with a couple of days spotting after. Has anyone else had this? I don’t know if it’s worth asking my doctor about. Thank you very much

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about, have they been regular? It may be that things have changed with time, or they may start to go back to your previous type of period after a few months Smile

Your periods can change as you get older, and can also be different after taking the pill. They can also take a few months to get in to a normal rhythm and you may find they start to get longer or fluctuate for a while.

Just enjoy them not being painful or too long and hope it stays that way, I say! :)

Good luck with TTC.

I'm similar and put it down to things changing with age. I don't get as much pain but they are still fairly long (so far, fingers crossed the pain stays low).

Thanks ladies! Yes they’re regular as clockwork so sounds like nothing to be concerned about. Thank you xx
