TTC after chemical

Hi girls

First time mumsnetter so sorry if this has already been covered recently. I recently had what I believe to be a chemical pregnancy. Period due on 28th April, tested positive on 27th and 28th, started bleeding on 28th then negative tests from 30th onwards.

I’m a bit confused how to track my cycles now. I use the clue app as a rough guide. Should I count 28th as CD1?

Thanks in advance for any advice x

I think so. With my chemical, I skipped a cycle though, so it might send you haywire for a month or so.

Also interested in this. Tested positive from 12-16 dpo and lost it at 17dpo on this Wednesday.

It was pretty much like a normal period (bit crampier) and has completely gone now. But I’m wondering how it will effect things too.

I had a chemical pregnancy last month - I'm now cycle day 1 with my next period. Cycle length was the exact same length as normal counting from the first day of bleeding if that makes sense..... As if my body treated the CP as a period. So fingers crossed for this new cycle!

Mine was much like a normal period too, maybe a bit more pain and a bit less blood. If I hadn’t tested early I genuinely don’t think I would have even known I was pregnant. I’m just going to count the first day of bleeding as CD1 and hope things go back to normal. Thanks for the advice everyone 😊
