Hi All,

I'm hoping some of you may be able to shed some light or share any experiences on long cycles.

So I stopped the pill after the 7 day break on Jan 21st.

I didn't have a withdrawal bleed at all (usually did like clockwork) and my first real period was March 4th, so 43 days. I know I'm very lucky here as I know some ladies have to wait a long time for a periodThanks.

My next cycle lasted 52 days and my latest period arrived on April 25th I actually got a blazing positive Ovulation test on 11th Apr (CD 39!). This was the first positive I've had.

Now on CD 9 of new cycle and I'm just wondering if from here on out I may be back to 'normal' cycle length? Pre pill I was very regular and although I didn't count the days exactly I'm sure it was around 28 days.

Did any of you have long cycles for a while or once you ovulated and had a period did they settle down? Just feels like I'll need to wait forever for a fertile window and then again to test. I know this isn't really a big issue but the thought of next AF being due on June 16th is frustrating.

Thanks x

Everyone is so different! Mine have been 30 or 40 something days after the pill but this month I’m on CD 48 so far. If I were you I would take ovulation tests (the cheap one step ones from amazon are good) every few days to try and keep an eye on things so you can plan when to have more sex. Good luck!
