Hi everyone, sorry for tmi but my boyfriend and I have ttc since a mmc last August 2017. So we are on cycle 8 now. I think I am 2-3dpo and I have developed a mild case of thrush. Has anyone got any exciting stories for me to tell me this could be an early symptom? And can I use a pessory if ttc? I have used a little cream. I know I’m clutching at straws with this being a symptom! Especially so soon after ovulation. 🤦‍♀️

Sperm can alter the balance of your vaginal ph which can lead to thrush. Obviously when ttc you’re having a lot more sex so you’re more likely to get thrush. I ended up with thrush last month and unfortunately for me it wasn’t a symptom of pregnancy just a reaction to lots of sex lol! I work in a chemist and the cream is totally safe but don’t take the oral fluconazole capsules. Pessaries should be fine but I’d stick to the 2% cream. Use it for up to 5 days after symptoms have cleared.
