Bfp then bfn

Hi really confused here! Wondering if anyone had the same thing happen to them. I done a frer test friday afternoon and it came back bfp nice pink line wasent even faint. Everyday since then iv had bfn and still no af. Really has left me confused and dont know which way to turn. Ic show a very very faint line which my sister can also see. Il be a week late tomorrow. Thanks for any replies xxx

Were the negative tests also FRER or were they a different brand?
FRER are very sensitive so if you got a BFP on that then you're pregnant!

Yeah i tested the morning after getting bfp with frer and that was bfn xx

How strange. If you're late and you are pregnant you should have enough HCG in your urine for a digital to work - could you try that for peace of mind?

If not and they're all negative now I'd maybe just test once a week until you either get a positive or your period turns up. Hopefully the first BFP is correct. Good luck x

Hi @Hard2fall I'd suggest you go see your gp, if it's a week late they can send you for bloods. Explain the confusion in tests and they'll do one whilst you're there too. Blood tests will give a much better idea of what's going on.

I had this last year and then my period arrived 2 weeks late. Turned out to be a chemical pregnancy.
Really hope it’s better news for you but just wanted to share my experience as it drove me mental last year with test after test x

I had a chemical a few years ago when I got faint bfp followed by bfn then af. But I got successfully preggers the next try so if that is what is it, at least it proves you can get pg. But obvs I hope this one is a sticky bean for you.

Iv had a chemic before, hopefully it doesnt take too long for af to show. I had an ectopic pregnancy last october which resulted in a tube removal. Hopefully it w9jt be too long before we get a bfp that sticks x
