superdrug early tests.. anyone had a very convincing evap?

strange title I think - sorry.

I did one of the Superdrug early tests yesterday on a 3 hour hold and got a very obvious second pink line which appeared during the time frame (- have added the photo) even my other half said I wasn't seeing things and it was blaringly obvious!

anywho I did the second test in the packet this morning with fmu and it's so so faint that if I hadn't had the 'positive' yesterday I wouldn't of given it a second thought to being negative.
I'm so confused

I don't know when or if I ovulate and I've only had 2 bleeds this year both 1 or 2 days of spotting basically. so I have no clue where I am in this 'cycle'.

has anyone else had a convincing evap with these?
I promise the pic was taken at the 4 minute mark and it was there while the test was developing too.

That really does look like a positive, i would test again with another type of test (frer preferably) xx

thank you @mrsbarton ! I'm going to get some cheap tests today and grab a 2 pack of frer to do at the end of the week as well. it really does look positive

@Coconutty89 some people have stronger results later in the day so it may well just be that. Good luck with the other tests!

I’ve had even stronger false positives with Superdrug. They are terrible for them.

Both times with both my DDs I used Superdrug and they were correct.

@Coconutty89 I really hope this is positive for you but I got the exact same result last month and it was definitely negative on every other test I took.

@spadesofglory how strange! as if ttc isn't hard enough x

There are lots of reports of Superdrug tests giving false bfps so I wasn't alone in experiencing it! As I said, I really hope it's a bfp for you, let us know when you test again
