Cerelle pill to conception

I'm on cerelle and have been for 6 years since having my last baby, no4.
I don't have AF on this pill as it's taken daily. I do have a break once a year for a month to have a clear out.
How long did it take you to conceive after coming off it?
With the normal pill I came off and was PG within 4 weeks for all 4 babies. But I know with cerelle it can take ages to get back to normal cycle wise? I am coming off it for 6 months before we TTC so I can regulate cycles. Just wanted to know your experiences of cerelle and ttc. Thankyou

I’ve just come off this pill and would be interested to know too. Two weeks off and nothing as yet, no ovulation either!

When I came off for my last break in August last year I bled 2 weeks after taking my last one. Bled for 8 days. Huge clots old blood and very painful. Was worried but it's normal apparently. But that was a withdrawal bleed so no actual period I don't think. Keep me updated xx

First month trying for me. Then this time I was still on it! Hopefully it'll happen that quickly again (unplanned pregnancy ended in miscarriage).

Hey @Mum2fourrugrats,

I came off of Cerelle after taking it for 3 years in December and I can remember asking on here the same questions 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Literally killed me not knowing what or if my body would go back to normal after not having any periods like you said...

But for as for me... I stopped mid Dec, had a 2 day withdrawal bleed around Christmas and then had my first proper AF after a 35 day cycle which as you can imagine felt like I lifetime of waiting 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ But so far after that one I've had a 31 day and most recently a 30 day cycle 😁 So all the worrying and stress turned out to be for nothing! AF was quite heavy first time around but only lasted for about 4 days... again they seem to be calmer now!!

I was the same as you with wanting to let my body get back to normal before we started TTC, so this is our first month actively trying so I don't have any input as to how long just yet 😬🤞🏻

Fingers crossed yours get back on track soon 🤞🏻 I know it can take longer for others but I thought I'd share my experience incase it helps! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Let me know how you get on!

Sending lots of bubba dust for the near future 😘👶🏻

First time 6 months, second time 2 months although tbh the first time was a bit longer as I didn't realise I was ovulating so early in my cycle, so missed the window the first few months until I got my clear blue monitor. I don't think cerelle made any difference to how long it took me to get pregnant - and the first time I'd been on it for years without any breaks so it was properly 'in my system' (if that really is a thing).
