Hi.
I am currently having NHS fertility tests at the Countess of Chester. I am just wondering how long people have had to wait for IVF on the NHS in Chester and would love to hear success stories.

You’ll probably get more responses on the infertility board as a lot of the women in here aren’t at the IVF stage yet.

I am at this stage myself having had all fertility tests done already (I’m near Chester but had my tests done at Liverpool Women’s) From what I know about NHS IVF, the waiting times are longer than if you go private, as with most things, but I have heard a few people with success stories from having IVF at Chester. Good luck with your tests :)

Thanks for your reply bubblegum. Fingers crossed for you! Have you gone private and how long did you have to wait from your results?

I am now on a waiting list for ICSI ivf as it turns out it’s primarily male issues along with my pco. It turns out it should only be a 3-4 month wait which i’m surprised but very happy about. 🙂
