Anyone got bfp by dtd cd12

Hi all as the title says just wondering if anyone got a bfp by dtd just once 2/3 days before ovulation?
I'm due to ovulate either tomorrow or Monday. Could only dtd once this cycle and that was last night (Friday) just wondering what my chances are.

Yes, you can get pregnant by having sex a few days before ovulation. Sperm can live in the Fallopian tubes for up to 5 days. Good luck

Yep, have just happened to me. Dtd on CD9, the only dtd that month and I'm now 6 weeks preg.

I have just done opk (first time using) it was negative. Would this make a difference or could I still be in with a chance? I'm a little clueless to all this haha

What’s your cervical mucus doing? Sperm can live for up to 5 days, but I think it’s only if the CM is right. They absorb into your vagina walls (sexy) after a few hours, so if you don’t have watery/EWCM right now then they don’t stand much chance of getting to your egg in time. Xx

I've had ewcm yesterday and today. Not had loads but it's def there. I usually have it for about 3 gays then stops. So really hoping I've got a chance xx

I think you’re in with a chance if you’ve had EWCM. I didn’t do ovulation sticks but monitored my CM. We dtd once in my fertile window, which was my last day of EWCM and got our BFP.

I've never used the opks before, always gone with CM too and got caught both times... sadly miscarried both times last year. Really hope this is my time xx

I ovulate around day 18 but yes, I am currently pregnant after DTD 2 days before ovulation.

Just a little more advice please. I did opk Saturday which wasn't as dark as control line, did one yesterday which I think was positive then also did one this afternoon which was negative. Would this mean I could have ovulated yesterday?

I think it means you'll actually ovulate today or tomorrow. As opk's predict the hormome
Surge that comes before ovulation.

There's no way of knowing exactly when you ovulated just using ovulation tests. Roughly 24-36 hours after the positive test is usually when it happens. If you got your positive on Sunday then could be today or tomorrow.

Thanks for your reply @Waitingonasmiley42 I must sound really dumb with it all. Just never used them before and worrying a little that due to only dtd once this cycle (Friday) I may be out this month

It is all confusing. I got pregnant with DS2 from sex the day before a positive. If last time was Friday the odds are probably slightly against you, but you are definitely still in with a chance.

@Waitingonasmiley42 it sure is. I got pregnant with my son without even trying didn't find out till I was 10+5 weeks. Well I've read sperm can survive in the right conditions between 3-5 days. I've had EWCM from Friday to yesterday so hoping there's still a few there waiting haha
