spotting then period :|

Hello been trying for a baby for past 10 months no luck! :(
have had all the symptoms for the past 2 months but all negative tests
I start af yesterday and had spotting all day!, felt really positive thinking this was my time, but woke up this morning and bledid out tmi I know had to shower and then went back to bed but woke up 4 hours later and my whole pad was covered, (sorry for all tmi) a little worried is this my chances gone for this month?
has anyone spotted for a day then got there period and found out they were pregnant? someone please reply I've been googling all morning and can't find any proper posts about it

If AF is due and you're bleeding, then it's likely to be your period and very unlikely you are pregnant. Sorry.

I get spotting for two days before my AF, some stuff on the internet says it might be linked to progesterone but I've not found anything concrete yet. My acupuncturist didn't seem bothered when I mentioned it to her today. Think it's reasonably common though.
