I’m not sure I ovulate...

Hi everyone. My boyfriend and I had a mmc last year in August. We have been trying ever since with no luck. I have recently found out that just because you get AF it doesn’t necessarily mean you ovulate. I have bought my first opks this month. I am so scared of not getting a smiley face! Is anyone else in the same boat?

I used to have this worry. Mine was somewhat irrational.

I started temping. Made it very obvious it was in face ovulating, 4 days later than I thought though.

I started tracking ovulation this month. I didn’t get a single positive, which really panicked me.
I got my BFP on Monday!

Temping is definitely worth a try, I was never sure if I ovulated either (PCOS) so I temped for a year or so before we started trying and got pregnant the first month.

OPKs never seemed to work for me either so I'm not sure how reliable they are

OPKs don't tell you if you ovulate either. You need to temp if you want to check you're ovulating!

I wouldn't worry at the moment toots. Give your sticks a go... before I used them I was relying on my fertility app and found when I used the sticks that i was ovulating about 5 days after I initially thought!

Congratulations @SoyDora I can’t wait to have a bfp now. According to my flo app I should be ovulating around now, however my sticks still haven’t had a smiley face... but this morning I learned that you shouldn’t use your fmu with opks so it looks like I’ve been doing it all wrong! 🤦‍♀️

I just got the cheapest from Amazon that took temperatures to 2 decimal places.

I took ovulation tests practically every day when I was TTC I never got a clear definitive positive. Also have pcos so got into a right state convinced I wasn't ovulating. Then I got my BFP, so I'm not sure how much I trust OPKS now tbh. My DD is 10 months now, good luck
