Hello, I was just wondering if anybody could give me some advice. I took an ovulation test Tuesday night and Wednesday night and they was both positive, we had sex Wednesday night and Thursday morning was this to late to conceive? I took another one tonight and it's negative.

Thankyouu x

@OP It only takes one sperm 😊 if you had sex on the day you got a positive OPK then this should 'count'. When you get a negative, generally speaking the fertile window is closed.

Am I right in thinking after a positive ovulation test my egg is due to be released within 24-36 hours?
So even though I had my pos I still hadn't ovulated yet?
Sorry some things are hard to understand at first Smile

I'm just wondering is someone has experienced the same thing as me, there's 2 pictures of ovulation tests.. the one with the red circle was on the 12/4/18 and the second one was from the 25/4/18.

I've been testing 2 times a day because my cycle is longer than usual, usually 38 days so I just wanted to make sure I caught my window.

Does anybody know why this has happened? We've had sex on both these dates and in between so fingers crossed Smile

The one on the 25th is positive. The other is negative. You sometimes see slightly stronger lines throughout he month depending on fluctuations in LH concentrations and how dilute your urine is.

Thankyou very much, sometimes they can be a little confusing if you don't know what your looking for, they're nothing like pregnancy test. I'm hoping we've got it this month x
