Anyone caught quickly with second child after fertility issues with first?

It took four years for me to fall pregnant with my son. I was just about to start fertility treatment when I fell pregnant naturally. We are getting to the point where we'd like to try for another baby but the thought of going through it all again is getting me down. Does anyone have any positive stories of getting pregnant quickly with their second child after ttc for a long time with their first?

Yep, 2 rounds of IVF to get number 1 at age 35. Had been trying for 2 years, lots of issues with endo and scarring on ovaries from surgery. Fell pregnant naturally when DS was 9 months old, mc at 9 weeks, told I had very low level of progesterone. Tried again 1 month after MC, fell straight away, took progesterone supplements, was 37 at this point. Another baby followed naturally at age 39, wasn't really trying as in wasn't monitoring cycle. Thought I was done, on mini pill but fell pregnant again at age 42,. Wasn't trying at all as only DTD once that month, massive shock but now mum to 4 gorgeous kids. Would never, ever have believed that possible.
The only thing I did differently between number 1 and 2 was acupuncture to lengthen my luteal phase, seems to have worked!! Good luck!
