CB digital overestimating!

Hi all,

You were all so helpful with my line eyes I thought I'd come back for my next question!

I took a CB digital just now (so not FMU) and it's showing 3+ weeks. I ovulated around or on 09/04/2018 which by my count would have me at 2-3 weeks on a CB digital, given they count from ovulation.

Has anyone else had a digital test overestimate their dates?

I would assume that for whatever reason, you just have a high level of HCG in your system.

From what I've read, they aren't pinpoint accurate for the weeks anyway.

Thanks guys - I have an early scan booked for 12th so I guess I'll find out more then. Eeek @MagicalCreatures twins actually run in both families so I had thought of that. I'm sure it'd be lovely but right now that's a terrifying prospect!

Haha I know the feeling. Twins run in both my sides too and I’m thinking of booking an early scan for around the same time. Mainly just to check there’s a heartbeat but I have this almighty fear of ‘oh there’s 2 in there’. Haha x

@MagicalCreatures yep, that was my thinking! I did the same thing with DS and was sat there saying 'and there's definitely just one right!'. Early scans are expensive but worth it I reckon

Baby’s can come early too ya know 😃 I was nervous too but the ladies and the support on these threads are incredible.

I’m on both and quite a few other people are too.
The support is fantastic.
Going from my LMP my due date is actually Xmas day 😂 but I ovulate 2 days later so I’m going by the 27th.
