Tracking ovulation

Anyone had any experience in tracking ovulation after the depo injection?
Is it possible to ovulate without having a period? If so how do you track it?

I didn't started tracking mine until I started bleeding which was nov/dec had my last depo injection May last year had my first positive opk 10th April this year but I was on depo for 5 years and everyone varies.

Ah okay thankyou :) just so confusing, I've never wanted a period so bad! At least I'll know where I am then!
