HRM showing pregnancy sign?

Hello!

I'm fairly new here, first time posting but have been reading the boards for a few months. I wondered if anyone else has noticed (or experienced) a noticeable increase in resting HR on their smart watch HRM and had it be the first sign of pregnancy? This happened to me with my first pregnancy, it rose by about 10bpm at 7dpo and stayed there for the remainder of my pregnancy. This past week it's showing raised again (also by about 10bpm) so suspect I could be due a BFP. I usually have a pretty low resting HR so that's why I noticed this! Has this happened to anyone else?

It happened to me, and there was quite a famous story about a woman realising she was pregnant when her fitbit spiked her heart rate.

It could be down to anything, but fingers crossed for you :)

Yes me too, this was my first pregnancy symptom. I wasn't wearing a HRM - the increase was very noticeable without one and started really early (I won't say how early because I'll sound mental).

My HR stayed high for the rest of my pregnancy (90-100 normally and 115+ sometimes with no obvious cause).

Fingers crossed for your bfp. Come back in a few days and update!

Thank you @stephisaur and @squashpocket for your replies! I'm glad I'm not just imagining it!! I'll update as soon as I know more. My cycles are a bit irregular so not sure if I'm late yet so will probably test in a couple of days if AF doesn't arrive!
