Am I pregnant or could it be food poisoning/something else?

Hi, this is my first post but I really NEED advice. Let me explain to you everything that has happened and you can tell me what you think from it! I appreciate anyone reading this at this time.

So basically Fri 13th April 18 everything is all good, I order a takeaway and I go to bed. I wake up next morning at 3am needing a wee but when I get back into bed the room is spinning, i'm nauseous, but I don't have the feeling to throw up as i'd not ate anything. I feel this way all day and had to watch movies in a seperate room to my partner all day to finally distract myself. I ate nothing but crackers the first day. After consideration, I search online and it says I could feel that way from eating too quickly, food poisoning... The first day, I had pretty much got everything out of me through the 'other end' and from that day on ate crackers and bland things so how could I still be nauseus the next day? I've never had food poisoning and this is what I assumed it was. It's only now after it's been a week and some other strange things are happening I feel a bit suspicious.

Nausea gone after three days, but I still can't lay down without feeling dizzy. Next day and days up to now I have to sleep the same side and can't toss and turn as i'll feel dizzy. I have to have my head elevated to sleep. But is this a 'cluster headache'?

The symptoms i've been having that don't make me feel right have been, a stomache pain, as if i'm on my period, but ever since i've been on the contraceptive pill now for two years i've not had these feelings since then. I've had a 'pulsing' as my muscles contract but not a proper stomache pain. I have no idea how long food poisoning is meant to last neither but I actually feel fine but can't eat as much as I used to.

I don't think i'm pregnant but to be honest i've never felt like this before. I did a test and it said negative but I got told you should just wait to see if your period comes and do it if it's late.

I've always been a firm believer of 'if you know, you know.'
It's just that things don't match up! If I had food poisoning from the takeaway why haven't my brother or partner got it because they ate it too?

I am sort of rushing to write this so I do apologise but please ask questions if you need more info and i'll be back to answer soon. I'm just nervous as i'm not prepared.

Generally if you're pregnant enough to have symptoms, particularly ones as severe as you have, then you're pregnant enough for a test to show positive. You might want to see a doctor - it could be something like an inner ear infection as that can cause severe dizziness and accompanying nausea and illness.
