Times ticking now....
Having the dye test, also ablation of endo(if they find any) and unsticking adhesions? (I think that’s what letter says! 🤔)...
Any advice, encouragement, hand holding, virtual hugs would be VERY MUCH WELCOMED!!!!!!!!
I feel like I’ve been counting down for so long the sag is finally here 😬 x

I'm so pleased for you it's getting closer - aren't you proud that you've (nearly) made it!!

Kate8989 · 24/04/2018 08:37

I feel like Ive made it but like you say.. I’m NEARLY there so still got to keep going. I’ve had new symptoms since Sunday so that’s worrying me and trying to keep it together. I just hope I’ll be posting on here on Thursday evening saying all’s gone well!! X

From me!!!

DaisyMay25 · 24/04/2018 15:25

Handhold from me! I know it's not the same but I had my wisdom teeth taken out a couple of years ago and was terrified. Im' made sure the nurses knew I had anxiety and was panicking and they was lovely. Fx they find what is causing all your pain and that it helps you x

Kate8989 · 24/04/2018 15:37

Thank you!!! Did you have a general for your wisdom teeth? Oh don’t worry, they will KNOW I’m nervous lol xxxx

I did indeed, I fell asleep before they even started counting haha! You'll be fine honestly, it's the right thing to do for you. It'll be over soon xx

Kate8989 · 24/04/2018 21:41

I know, thank you! Your words really made me feel better. I’m nervous, but it’s the right thing to do xx

One day at a time. It'll be fine.

Lauren83 · 25/04/2018 14:44

I have had 2 laps for endo, had never had a general before so was really scared. First one took an hour, was in overnight and back to work after 2 days. Second one took 5 hours as it was tube removal, extensive excision and everything stuck together, I was kept in 3 days then had a week off work. Good luck!

Melamine · 25/04/2018 15:51

Good luck Kate x

KnitKitty · 25/04/2018 16:12

You'll be fine Kate8989. Hope you find some answers to the pain you've been in.

In two days it will all be over.

General anaesthetic is really not bad. I've had it 4 times now. You just go sort of a bit dizzy when the anaesthetic is going in and everything starts to sound further away and then poof, you wake up. And it's completely normal to be nervous as hell beforehand, the doctors and nurses know this and do everything they can to help you stay calm.

xLauraa · 25/04/2018 16:32

Good luck with the LAP. You'll be absolutely fine. I've not had mine yet but I'm feeling a bit scared too. My friends given me lots of info about it and positivity. The worst part is just the Carbon Dioxide they put in to blow the stomach up which is just uncomfortable. Take it easy afterwards, hope they don't find much endo if any , sending love 💕

DaisyMay25 · 26/04/2018 17:43

Hope everything went okay @Kate8989 Thanks

KnitKitty · 27/04/2018 09:15

Thinking of you Kate8989. Any updates?

xLauraa · 27/04/2018 15:32

Hope you're recovering well @Kate8989

Just got date through for my LAP... 15th May 😬

xLauraa · 11/05/2018 07:39

4 days until my LAP 🤯

Kate8989 · 11/05/2018 08:37

Ahhh I’m jealous!!! I wish I could have another one in four days to get rid of what’s left lol.
You know you’ll be fine! If I’m saying I’m looking forward to a second- surely that’s encouragement enough for you?! X

@Kate8989 have you arranged your next Op yet?

Kate8989 · 11/05/2018 09:35

No, I have a consultation in June, then will go from there. I’m on an injection at the moment to help surpress the endo and put me in a better position for the next op. I’m hoping it will also give me a break from the pain until the next op.
Xx
