Pregnant after depo injection

Hi,
Has anyone had any success stories with getting pregnant after being on the depo injection? How long did it take you and any tips for helping to get pregnant? Wanting my BFP!!

Hi! Took us 24 cycles, 2 very looooong years, so if you think it isn't happening don't give up hope!

It took me 6 years after coming off it.
I had massively irregular periods at the beginning which fertility treatments settled. 5 years in we adopted. Year later I was pregnant (we'd completely given up trying)
My advice would be don't read tooh much into it. I scared myself silly reading stuff. I also think I was the exception with how long it took . Good luck!

I came off the depo for a year before ttc (I had been on it for a few years - about 5 I think) and fell pregnant the first time we tried. My period came back very quickly and regularly so may have happened earlier had we tried.

Hello,
We managed to get pregnant within the first year after coming off the depo but I had only been on it for 18months. It only took three cycles to get pregnant.

However this time, although not trying to, it's taking longer to get back to regular hormone levels.

I was on it for most of the preceding 13 years when I came off it. Last jab December, pregnant by October. It took 6 cycles / 5 months to get pregnant (started TTC in May).

Some scary lengths of time! I hope it doesn't take me that long! I had my last injection in October so it ran out at the beginning of January and I still haven't had a period. :/ just wish I would so that I can begin to track my ovulations.

I had just one injection and didn’t get a period for a year, went on the pill for 6 months, came off and fell pregnant straight away!

@Danic449 I came off the depo last May have had irregular bleeding since nov/dec I've been tracking ovulation since then and I only had my first positive opk this month also I was on the depo for 5 years.

Came off it June 2016, AF returned in October and got BFP early August. Was due on Wednesday but as still waiting.
