I got told a few weeks ago i could be in early menopause at age 30. That it may be very difficult for me to have a baby so to get cracking ASAP and they'd see me in the fertility clinic in 6 months if no joy. We were nowhere near ready but figured if this was our only chance we should take it and they said it could take quite a while anyway. We had sex 4-5 days before ovulation and I'm now around 10 dpo and tested on the off chance as my period would be due today or tomorrow and got this. And a very light pink line on two internet cheap ones.

I feel a bit crampy but no sign of period, slightly sore boobs, had an unbelievably dry throat at 7-8dpo.

It's a strong line right?! I'm shaking!!

I honestly can't believe it. There's been talk of donor eggs and everything. I'm in shock. Just hope to god it holds on

I believe when you are going through the menopause you can get a false positive due to levels of HCG in your blood.

I'm sure it's not that and you are pregnant but do get checked out at the GP to make sure x

Thanks house I think I defo need a drs appointment. Did a test 2 days ago and it was completely negative though so I'm hoping that goes in my favour

That's really exciting but please try and be cautiously optimistic - it's ever so early days. Hard to do as I'm sure your mind is whirling around like crazy.

Thank you everyone! Another stronger positive on cheapies today, boobs like torpedos, me and my boyfriend spent most of last night laughing and crying and looking at each other in absolute disbelief!

I bet your on cloud 9 I still remember the first week finding out I felt exactly the same yet totally different. Exciting times ahead for you!
