Hi everyone fairly new to this. I had my little boy on February 3rd ( he’s 11 weeks) I am on my 4 th week of dianette ( contraceptive pill ) . This is mainly for my skin as I actually fell pregnant on Roaccutane ( that is a story within itself as you can all imagine if you know what this drug is, thankfully DS is healthy ) so my doctor suggested before being referred back to dermatology that I need to try this 🙄. I’m wanting to have another baby this year and start trying as soon as we can so have decided to just stop taking the dianette after this 7 day tablet free period . It will only be my first month so does anyone know when I will ovulate again ? Does anyone know how long it will take or have experience ? I’m hoping it will happen fast as although my skin is a nightemare I found that while being pregnant it was really ok so.

Any suggestions would be great thanks X

It's possible that you could ovulate again normally during this next cycle. Are you breastfeeding? Because that can suppress ovulation too.

Good luck!

I used to take dianette for my skin- again like you pregnancy helped my skin. I have been so spotty for the last 16months since my DD was born.
You could ovulate straight away- it’s not been in your system long. But our bodies never do what it’s supposed to do so who knows.
I’m very impressed you can fit BDing in with a 11week old 🙈 for the first year sleep was my priority 😂
Good luck
